Quarantine hobbies

At the start of the quarantine, I moved to Santiago to start University. Sadly, the covid had other plans for the world. So, that made my quarantine experience very weird. I started to live without my mom and my family, which made me grow as a person very quickly. For expamle, I learned a lot of housework: how to try to cook every day (I’m vegeterian, so it was very hard), I had to clean constantly and worry about going to the supermarket every week.

Apart from that, I’ve been doing a lot of homework due to University. I’ve read a lot of stuff for tests but also, books of my own taste. Also, I’ve been writing a lot in my journals to keep me out of stress.

Another thing that I’ve been studying a lot, is astrology and esoteric knowledge, I think it’s been very good to understand myself and also learn how to understand the people who are close to me and my life.

The last hobbie doesn’t make me very proud. I’ve been spending a lot of time looking and buying clothes. I think after so many months looking for dresses, skirts and jeans, I’m an expert looking the best prices in all kinds of stores.

I don’t like to be lock-down, but I think I’ve been doing well after all.

A Country I'd Like To Visit

A country that I would like to visit is “Argentina”, because I love the culture, the history and music from there.

I know a little bit of Argentine History, such as the “Peronismo” era, the years of dictatoship, the “Malvinas War” and the 2001 crisis. Also, I know a lot of great and famous figures from this country, such as Evita Perón, Diego Maradona, Luis Alberto Spinetta, Marcelo Bielsa and the journalist Leila Guerriero.

I would like to visit places like “Plaza de Mayo” and “La Casa Rosada”, or maybe go to see some football game, specially at the stadium “Ciudad de La Plata”. Also, I would love to visit the Patagonia part of Argentina.

I would definitely like to study there because of free education. I know the economy situation is a bit complicated, but still, I would love to work there, because the journalism and the media area are both very ideologized, and I could work to change that situation.

Best Concert Ever

My favourite concert ever was the "Fluvial Festival" from Valdivia, specifically done at the riverbank of the city. This festival was made on December 2th, 2017, and I went with my best friend from school.

We went to see three chilean muscians: Pedropiedra, a famous composer with a great discography, who worked with “31 minutos”; Javiera Mena, a Techno-Pop musician who has five studio albums; and also, Congreso, a folk band from Quilpué that is famous since the “Nueva Canción Chilena” era, with more than fifty years of career.

The atmosphere during the Festival was very fresh, there was a lot of young people enjoying, smoking and singing with the artists. I think we all enjoyed it because of the euphoria and the quality of the musicians.

Also, I remember that while “Congreso” was playing, a guy closed to me and my friend to sell us two bracelets and make a wish. He told us that when the bracelet was off from our hands, the wish was going to come true. Nowadays, without the bracelet, I can say that the wish I did, became true.

MY EXPECTATIONS FOR 2021

I have to say I’m very excited about 2021 and I have really good expectations. I believe blindy about a safe vaccine for the virus. I know...
